2011-01-25 15:30: osCommerce must be substituted
Lately, there has been a significant increase in automated exploitation of security vulnerabilities in osCommerce. This is abused for the purpose of damaging the websites using osCommerce, attacking visitors to these websites, spamming, and attacks on other websites and services.

We therefore ask our customers with osCommerce to switch to other software for their ecommerce needs.

If we come across osCommerce installations in webhotels hosted by us, we will have to disable osCommerce in these webhotels, in the interest of security and service reliability.

Wikipedia has a list of shopping cart software. As long as the software does not have security vulnerabilities, you keep it up-to-date, and its resource usage is sensible, we permit the use of it.
